
Initiated in 2001, the annual Asia Pacific PR Awards honor clients and agencies for the strategies, people and achievements that have transformed businesses and brands. In this year’s awards, 337 entries from around the Asia Pacific region competed in 24 categories.
Media‘s Campaign of the Year Award capped a highly successful 2009 for Dentsu PR. In July the International Public Relations Association – the foremost association for international public relations professionals – bestowed its prestigious ‘Golden World Award for Excellence in PR’ upon two Dentsu PR campaigns including ‘Milk price problem’. The campaign undertaken for the Japan Dairy Council entitled “Japan’s milk price problem: The 30-year challenge”, also won Dentsu PR accolades for ‘Business to Business Campaign of the Year’ and ‘Public Affairs Campaign of the Year’. The award ceremony was held in Hong Kong on November 11.
